Another excerpt from The Gay Divorce. Previously in this series: Bluebeard and Easter: The Resurrection.

Voldemort 

Two detectives slip through the space time continuum,

to check in on how we evaluate great art after we find out

the artist is a morally reprehensible person,

but I brush them off and explain, no this person wasn’t an artist,

get back to the para-18th century, have fun.

Grace asks if you’ll go back into the closet, and I bristle, 

But I know what she means.

The audience isn’t clear on whether you’ve been replaced 

by the same imposter they sent before.

At least, the person we thought you were and the one 

you turned out to be are on either side of a magic wall.

You’d broken yourself into seven easy pieces, split like a banana,

showed your finger gun, levitated and said sayonara.

One of the first things you did after sending me to the dungeon

it should have been Yom Kippur, betch!
