I was just looking at the lyrics to Genesis earlier today and thinking of how much I liked the song a few years ago never having read what they actually are until now...so sad...like a premonition of everything (& what you wrote above)
I absolutely love this and I only understand about half of the cultural references. So what did it make me laugh so hard? There is deep wisdom and awareness here that makes me want to look in the mirror and question my own tiny flaws…and be better.
